Idaho Democratic Party Pledges Delegates to Vice President Kamala Harris; Idaho GOP Responds to Biden Stepping Down
By Greg Pruett • July 24, 2024The Idaho Democratic Party announced that it is pledging its delegates to Vice President Kamala Harris for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States.
The announcement comes as the Democrat Party seeks to replace President Joe Biden, who will not seek re-election. Biden will address the national tonight and has endorsed Harris for president.
Idaho Democratic Party Chair Lauren Necochea put out the following statement pledging their support for Harris, saying,
“Idaho Democrats are united in our support of Kamala Harris as the next President of the United States. This November, voters face a clear choice between MAGA authoritarianism that will keep stripping away our freedoms and a future where we have a say over the decisions impacting our lives. Harris is uniquely positioned to make this argument, having been an unrelenting champion of our freedoms, especially when it comes to abortion care. Our enthusiasm is why MAGA Republicans are panicking, stuck with a candidate found guilty of 34 felonies and rape by a jury, who chose one of the most extreme and inexperienced politicians as his running mate. Idaho Democrats are fired up and ready to get to work because the stakes in this election couldn’t be higher.

The Democrat National Convention is scheduled for August 19 through August 22.
In response to Biden stepping down, the Idaho Republican Party put out the following statement:
“In America, we believe the voice of the people matters. That is why the Idaho Republican Party worked hard to organize a presidential nominating caucus to ensure our voices were heard in choosing our next president. Idaho Republicans overwhelmingly voted for Donald Trump who accepted the nomination at the Republican National Convention last week.
The other party held a convention to choose their national delegates, voting overwhelmingly for President Joe Biden. Despite serious questions about his capacity to serve another four years, 14 million Democrats nationwide supported the incumbent president. Today, those concerns were validated as Biden officially dropped out of the presidential race. This means the Democratic Party will disregard the voice of the people and allow a small number of party elites to choose their nominee. What was the point of the primary election?
The Idaho Republican Party is the party of the grassroots. We believe the right to vote is sacred. It is our duty as party leaders and elected officials to honor the voice of the people as expressed through their vote. We at the Idaho GOP are continuing to represent the people of Idaho at the state level while supporting the national effort to return Donald Trump to the White House. America cannot endure another four years of undemocratic rule by a party of corrupt oligarchs.”

Harris, if she secures the nomination, will take on the Idaho Republican nominee, former President Donald Trump this November.

I have always listened to all sides in politics. We all should!
However, if Idaho Democrats overwhelming support of President Biden, during his sad decline, switched in a day to VP Harris. My perception is that Idaho’s ranking Dem members do not consult their constituents that they represent and are willing to make rash decisions just for a “win”, not the good of the people of the entire state. I am deeply concerned about the state’s Democratic agenda at this time in my life.
Just how bad does a candidate need to be before the Democrat party will turn their backs?
I lived through kamala as a politician. They just seem to be more and more “snake-like each cycle. I know they will say the same for our side.
I find it offensive that Harris tells us she was the “top cop” in California. She was NEVER in law enforcement. She was a prosecuting attorney. Now she has been tapped to seek the democrats’ nomination. No voter input. No campaigning.
So, the Idaho Commiecrat Party has decided on behalf of themselves to pledge delegates to Kamala Harris without a vote? This is the action of a dictatorship and not that of a representative government.
Of course, patriots did not expect anything different.
Why do democrat women look like they all fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down?
It has been said that it is an outward expression of an inward act…ugly is as ugly does.
And “it” is simply disgusting…

These people have no desire for unity. Their only goal is to destroy.
The statement from the Democratic Party Chair is both astounding and disturbingly frightening at the same time. It exhibits an amazing suspension of disbelief because how else could she say “a future where we have a say over the decisions impacting our lives.” when in fact not one single vote in the entire Democratic party primary process was cast for Kamala Harris. Instead, that decision was made by a handful of powerful individuals. Where’s the outrage from the Democrat party faithful for being disenfranchised? Nowhere to be seen as evidenced by this dutiful “fall in line and do as you’re told” statement. What’s particularly frightening is that there is no doubt in my mind that the Democratic Party Chair believes wholeheartedly in every single word of this statement. There’s a zombie-like quality to such adherence that smacks of “I was just following orders” mentality.
Can someone tell me when the people nominated camel toe.

“to save Democracy”… right? 🙂 Gotta love Democrats. The man with “no experience”… who in fact led the country for 4 years. The man who’ll lead us into WWIII… who in fact started no new wars and peace accords. The man who’ll destroy the economy… who in fact created a booming economy. The man who’ll “put black people back in chains”… who in fact did more for the black community than any POTUS in history. That guy? He went through a full primary process against multiple qualified candidates and overwhelmingly won.
Democrats? Ran a vegetable when the whole world knew he was a vegetable, and didn’t blink. Didn’t allow any legitimate challengers in their primary and put everything behind the most corrupt, inept, incapacitated POTUS in history. Then, when the vegetable gets 15 million primary votes (which tells you pretty much everything you need to know about Democrats), yank him at the last second, against his will, and replaces him with the least popular DEI candidate in history… a woman who panders to blacks, but isn’t black… who slept her way to the top… who dropped out of the 2020 primary before the first ballots because she had zero support… who actually has a lower rating than Biden’s historic low ratings. They do so not with a single vote being cast by a Democrat voter, but because the party bosses, in less than 24 hours, DECIDE FOR THEM who their candidate will be.
For Democracy… to SAVE DEMOCRACY. If you’re still voting Democrat, that’s fine. But please STFU about who and what you are, because that’s already been established and there is no debating it.
Silence the cackle. Vote Trump.
The Left leans left and the Right leans right. So, why is this new to anyone? Vote with your beliefs; deep state government control of everything, or freedom to reduce government control of anything. And, God help us in the middle of the rest of the country.
It was a thinly veiled palace coup. They waited until the last hour before pretending to be surprised that Biden was unfit for office….ahem, re-election. Then they leveraged all forces to oust him from the race. Kamala has been coronated….NOT elected by primary….coronated as the candidate.
Until obama is imprisoned and put on trial for Treason, incompetent idiots like this one will continue to show up.
