2022 Idaho Statewide Candidates for Office as of 5/11/2022 – Primaries Only

By • May 11, 2022

The primary election is one week away.

There are two statewide races that are “open races.” Several statewide offices have multiple candidates for primary races while two offices do not have a race but their names have been included here so that readers do not wonder why a particular office is not listed.

Please note that this list will NOT include Congressional races.

The following list is of all candidates from any party who will be running in the primary election. Unaffiliated and Independent candidates will NOT be listed here because those candidates only run in the general election. Candidates will also not be listed if they do not yet have a primary opponent.

Candidates will be listed alphabetically by last name and by their political party until primaries are completed. Candidates’ websites and social media sites are also posted. An incumbent, if applicable, will also be noted as such. Idaho Dispatch has also posted links to interviews with candidates who have agreed to do an interview with us. We are doing our best to reach all statewide candidates for an interview.

Note: Advertising is a part of all Idaho Dispatch articles.  Ads appearing in this article do NOT denote an endorsement of any candidate. The ads are placed based on the number of paragraphs in the article.

If you notice that your candidate has information available that we do not have, please send the information to info@idahodispatch.com.

  1. Idaho Prosperity Fund must be a ultra liberal think tank, more than likely supported/funded by Soros, Zuckerberg and their ilk. They don’t bother to mention that the AG had closed the case when these articles first came out then he reopened the case for political reasons so that these two honest, truly conservative ladies decided to run for Lt. Gov. and Sec’y of State. Truly the IPF ads are an attempt to discredit and hide the truth.

  2. The voters in Idaho really need to start vetting the republican candidates rather than just voting for an “R” by their name. There are way too many RINOs currently in control that are slowly changing us into a California or Oregon. There also appears to be a lot of good ol boy stuff (corruption) in our state government, bureaucracies and police departments. Time for some major changes.

    1. It’s not who we are voting for thats turned Idaho blue. It’s the voting machines that flip the results.

  3. I concur with Paul, too many RHINO’s in control now. we NEED to vote them out (TERM LIMITS ARE THE ELECTIONS). We also need to VOTE, Apathy is what caused California, Oregon and Washington to turn communist. we CANNOT allow that to happen here in IDAHO. this is ‘OUR ALAMO’, where are you going to run to from here? there IS no place to escape to . this is our mountain to fight for. tell your friends, your neighbors, anyone that can (or will) listen. it’s time to take back our state.
    VOTE! VOTE! VOTE!

  4. You can see clearly that the RINOs are running FAKE challengers to RINO incumbents to spoil votes of good conservative candidates. They also run blocker candidates like Bedke for open seats. They must think that there are enough vote splitter candidates in the governor’s race to keep Little in power, otherwise if McGeachin had a clear slate without spoilers, the Swamp would run a FAKE challenger to protect Little, just like they are in the Sec of State and Superintendent of Instruction slots. They are not running anyone in the AG race because they think Macomber is in it with Labrador. I like him better than Labarador, but I don’t want to see Wasden remain.
