Will Idaho Dispatch Continue?

By • May 16, 2021

We are quickly closing in on the first anniversary of Idaho Dispatch.

It was June 3 of last year that we launched this incredible project. The feedback we have received so far is incredible.

The big questions are, can we continue to grow, and can you help us with a special request?

Running a media company is not easy, and it takes a tremendous amount of work. Additionally, it takes an audience to grow our brand and effort.

Over the last year, we have heard incredible feedback from Idaho Dispatch readers. Here are some of the quotes we have heard, and we know that there are many others we have not posted:

“This is how news is supposed to be.”

“I haven’t seen news like this in 45 years.”

“This is the only news source I go to now.”

We could list many more, and we are honored that you have chosen to support the cause of doing news the “right way.” It isn’t possible without you, and it isn’t possible to continue the growth without you either!

That’s why we have been saving all of your incredible donations to try and purchase our first company vehicle with an awesome Idaho Dispatch wrap on it!

In fact, I haven’t paid myself over the last year because I want Idaho Dispatch to have its own vehicle for use when covering stories.

While I certainly don’t mind using my own personal vehicle to travel the state to cover stories, a company vehicle that also serves as a moving billboard would be even better.

Our goal is to save approximately $12,000 to make the vehicle and wrap possible. Right now, we have saved $7,000!

How can you help us reach our goal?

First, if you would be willing to support us monthly by becoming a monthly subscriber to Idaho Dispatch, you can do so for as little as $2.97 a month. Simply go to idahodispatch.com/subscribe and select the option you want.

If you wish to donate to the vehicle/wrap cause, then you can also do a one-time donation at idahodispatch.com/donate and click the bottom yellow button that says “Donate.”

Finally, share our articles with everyone that you know and help us get more subscribers to Idaho Dispatch.

If you wish to advertise (revenue also goes to vehicle project), you can reach out to us at info@idahodispatch.com, and we’ll shoot you the details today.

  1. Greg,
The Idaho Dispatch, is the right paper at the right time. Thank you for reaching out, the bottom line is: We are all going to support this needed publication.

Keep us posted on both progress and needs to accomplish the goal.

Many do not use PayPal at all and are even hesitant to use any online payment form. This said, could The Dispatch also add a printable contribution form in the link so that we can print off, cut a check for either a monthly or one time donation, then mail it in. Please include a mailing PO Box also.

Appreciate the openness, so that we are aware of the need.

    1. We do have an address if you wish to send checks to. It is 3383 N. 5 Mile Rd. #161, Boise, ID 83713

Please make checks payable to Idaho Dispatch.

Thank you for the suggestion and we’ll try to make sure the address is visible so that people who don’t wish to use Paypal can do that instead. We are also looking at adding a different processor for payments.

  2. I agree. If I subscribed monthly to all the news sources I like, my bank account would be depleted without me being aware of it. I prefer sending checks to sources like Idaho Dispatch. A “snail mail” address is preferred.
