Idaho Dispatch released a poll yesterday conducted by Zoldak Research which covered the 2022 Republican Primary races for Governor and Lt. Governor.
You can review the results of the polling by going to IdahoDispatch.com/2022poll. The primary elections in Idaho do not take place until May 17.
Idaho Dispatch reached out to the candidates, and Governor Brad Little, who has not announced his re-election bid, to get their reactions to the polling data.
Who are the candidates listed in the polling for the Governor’s race? Lt. Governor Janice McGeachin, Ammon Bundy, Ed Humphreys, Steve Bradshaw, and Cody Usabel. The candidates listed in the Lt. Governor’s race poll are House Speaker Scott Bedke (R-Oakley) and Rep. Priscilla Giddings (R-White Bird).
Humphreys sent Idaho Dispatch the following message,
In half a year me and my team have accomplished something that’s taken the professional politicians decades. That same energy and drive is exactly what we need down at the Statehouse. Polls don’t measure success, only results.
Usabel told Idaho Dispatch,
Cody Usabel will be releasing more content soon on Facebook and YouTube leading up to the primary. https://m.facebook.com/usabelforgovernor/

Bundy and McGeachin told Idaho Dispatch they did not have a comment at this time. Little and Bradshaw have not replied to Idaho Dispatch’s request for comment at this time.
Giddings responded to the polling results by telling Idaho Dispatch,
I’m very encouraged by the large number of undecided voters in the race for Lt Governor. Bedke’s ongoing relationship with corruption and cronyism is clearly hurting his poll numbers. Our campaign has the early lead among the grassroots, and we will continue working hard to earn the confidence of the voters.
