Queen Elizabeth II Dead at 96

As reported by the BBC, Queen Elizabeth II of Britain is dead today at the age of 96.

Born Elizabeth Alexandra Mary Windsor, she inherited the throne in 1952. She is the longest reigning monarch in British history, her tenure spanning seven decades.

Her son, Prince Charles, becomes the King of England immediately.
