Meridian, Idaho — Meridian resident and Real Estate Broker Mike Hon is running for Meridian City Council Seat 6 as a True Common Sense Conservative Republican. Mike Hon has
been a Treasure Valley resident since 1991 and has lived in Boise, Eagle and Meridian. Mike’s professional background includes various sales and business development roles in Corporate
America including Micron Technology and as a local Real Estate Entrepreneur.
Family Safe Environment – Repeal of Meridian Ordinance 18-1791 which allows biological males to utilize women’s bathrooms, locker rooms, and dressing rooms in public facilities where our daughters and wives are most vulnerable. The incumbent in Seat 6 voted for this ordinance.
Common Sense Growth – the speed at which Meridian is growing is untenable. Mike is looking to apply simple common sense to the growth challenges facing the city in the next 10 –
Fiscal Responsibility and Transparency – Mike wants to ensure that the city of Meridian is spending the taxpayer’s money where it matters the most.
Private Property Rights – Protect and preserve individual private property rights.
Mike has been a Treasure Valley resident for 30+ Years, he fell in love with Idaho in ‘91 and has been here since. He has decades of experience in Corporate America and as a Local Real Estate
Entrepreneur and will bring a Common Sense Business approach to City Council business.
Mike has raised three kids in the Treasure Valley and has been a Cub Scout Den Leader with Pack 127, an Assistant Scout Master with Troop 77 based at the Eagle United Methodist Church
and an Assistant Baseball Coach with West Valley Little League.
Mike has a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration.
Mike loves to ski, fish, hunt and backpack in God’s Country, and don't forget bowling on Thursdays!
