The following Press Release was sent out by Raul Labrador, a Republican candidate for Attorney General. Note: Press Releases sent out by candidates do not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of those at the Idaho Dispatch.

Boise, ID – Conservative leader and former U.S. Representative Raúl Labrador today received a major endorsement for his campaign.

Former United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is endorsing Labrador for Attorney General.

Speaking about his endorsement, Secretary Mike Pompeo said, “Raúl Labrador is an unwavering conservative who has always supported constitutional liberty. You always know where Raúl stands; he is there for our economic freedoms, our religious freedoms and our Second Amendment rights. Raúl understands the importance of state sovereignty and the need to check the power of Washington bureaucrats. We need strong leaders like Raúl challenging the Biden and socialist agenda in our courts. I have known Raúl for many years, he will be a champion for Idaho and our conservative values as your next Attorney General. I am proud to endorse him.”

Secretary Pompeo posted his endorsement on his Twitter account and in his Facebook feed.

“I thank Mike for his endorsement,” said Raúl Labrador. “As our nation’s Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo projected American strength around the world. Serving in President Trump’s cabinet, Mike understood that America first policies make us stronger, not weaker. Mike Pompeo has consistently stood up for our conservative values, championing faith and freedom, from his time in Congress to his service as Secretary of State.”

  1. This is nothing but outside interference in Idaho politics by Pompeo. Who cares what Pomeo thinks about Labrador. Labrador was a loser for the Governor role, and a do-nothing Congressman. It’s likely he’s another RINO left-leaning “conservative” (as advertised) like Little claims to be.

    1. I personally watched Raul on numerous times face down an auditorium of screaming liberals screeching about the millions of people dying because they didn’t have Obamacare. He didn’t waiver, back down or pander. His rating of being a constitutional congressman never went below 90. No one was or is going to take down Little. Just like Otter he has big AG and promises an endless supply of illegal labor.

    2. The election in 2018 governor’s race was split 3 ways, if you remember between Alquist, Labrador and Little. Little squeezed by because of this split, and look where he has taken us.
Now again we have a 3-way split and more than likely RINO Wasden will win again (sadly).

      1. Lisa – Look at the ID Dispatch poll taken on 2/18/22. It shows Labrador way ahead of Art and Brad. You have to register and cast your vote to see the results.

  2. Raul are you going to stop the mask and Fed vaccine mandates, the lobbyist from forcing CRT and other bad crap down our trouts? Anyone that doesn’t stand up for our rights as individuals, our freedom of speech and the right to choose what our kids are learning in school will not get my vote.

    1. Raul is a proven constitutional quantity. He would still be congressman hadn’t he run against the bought and paid for Little machine. I’m glad Russ is my congressman but in compare to Raul I have no idea about Russ as he seems to be non existent. I’m hoping Russ is just laying low during his first term and look forward to him stepping up at some point.

    1. You must be thinking of Dick Cheney, not Mike Pompeo who worked for Trump who kept us out of war during his tenure.

  3. Endorsements of Idaho candidates from politicians outside of Idaho will not receive my vote. Stay in your lane; haven’t seen Pompeo pushing for rights in Idaho or outing RINOs. Thank you.

  4. Mike Pompeo headed up the CIA, one of the most corrupt, evil organizations in the world. You can’t HEAD UP the organization and not know all the evil they are doing. His endorsement means DON’T vote for the guy. It means another controlled opposition globalist stooge. And you better believe the globalist Est wants to see conservative Idaho FALL.

  5. I have been wondering if Pompeo is now on The Committee of 300, cause Pompeo has checked all their boxes? So asking the question is Pompeo the Globalist choice for President? I would not accept endorsements from Pompeo. Remember THEY lie to us.
