Enters the race as the top choice for an Idaho first agenda
(Sandpoint, ID) – Todd C Engel recently announced that he has filed paperwork to run for State Representative in District 1, Seat B.
AdvertisementEngel, as a working-class Idaho resident of over thirty years, realizes that the changes we have witnessed in the Idaho way of life, coupled with the anti-freedom mandates the government has allowed during the pandemic are detrimental to Idaho residents and their values. “I am running for State Legislature to help preserve Idaho, our freedoms and liberties without the government overreach.”
Engel’s desire for educating others and standing for freedom began with the 1992 standoff at Ruby Ridge. In 2014 he put himself on the front line in Bunkerville, Nevada where the federal government was working to eradicate rancher’s water and grazing rights, consequently being sentenced to federal prison for 14 years. After 4.5 years behind bars, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals overturned Engel’s conviction “with prejudice” for constitutional and due process violations.
Because of his first-hand knowledge of the federal government’s heavy-handedness, Engel will be a staunch advocate for legislation to restrict the federal government’s authority to designate any Idahoan as a domestic terrorist. He will support all legislation to protect and expand Idahoans 2nd Amendment rights. “It is important that the power of government is returned to We the People as the founders intended.”
AdvertisementEngel realizes that parental rights are being eroded, whether it is by the government’s curriculum choices, lack of education transparency, or school mask mandates, he fully supports the fact that parents are the primary stakeholders in all aspects of their children’s lives. He will strongly oppose any legislation that states otherwise.
Engel looks forward to meeting his constituents and hearing their first-hand concerns for the future of Idaho. To schedule a meeting or event please visit engelforidaho.com.Advertisement

Sounds like a good fit for Idaho to me!
Who is he running against? Heather Scott, is she not the rep from district 1?
