The following Press Release was sent out by Bryan Scholz, a Republican candidate for Idaho State Senate. Note: Press Releases sent out by candidates do not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of those at the Idaho Dispatch.
My name is Bryan Scholz and I am running for Idaho State Senate, District 33. In the last two years we have seen a ferocious assault on our Constitutional rights and liberties that is disconcerting to say the least. ID-33 currently has a Senator with a lifetime rating with the American Conservative Union of D- (63%) and the Idaho Freedom Foundation of F (57%). We can do better.
I and my wife and young kids moved to Idaho Falls because it is an amazing place to live and raise a family. Still, even here, we’ve seen people getting fired from the INL for either not getting the vaccine, or for complaining about it. We’ve watched businesses and churches closed and kids forced to wear masks to schools. We’ve seen a practically never-ending state of emergency.
I am not a politician, though not without real life experience. Son of an architect and a nurse, I worked my way through college. I have extensive technical experience in media and IT, and have started companies.
I will put my time and energy into representing our District 33. I will fight for your right for medical freedom, election integrity, free speech, and your right to keep and bear arms–which guarantees all the other rights. I will work hard to protect and promote Idaho state sovereignty from the federal government’s increasing control.
I am a conservative fighter who will stand up for your rights.
