Inkom, ID – Today, Republican Art da Rosa, a Constitutional Conservative, officially announced that he will be a candidate for the Idaho State Senate in Legislative District 28.

“I am a husband, father, and grandfather,” said da Rosa.  By trade, I am a civil engineer.  I graduated from BYU and then obtained a Master’s Degree from Fresno State.”

“I am not a career politician,” da Rosa continued.  “I was born in Macau; and lived through communist oppression and the Cultural Revolution.  I consider myself very fortunate to have been able to immigrate to America, and I am proud to say that I adopted America as my country for her stance on Freedom.  Recent events have led to the degradation of our nation, and this prompted me to run for the Idaho State Senate.”

Da Rosa currently teaches a Constitution class on Monday nights in Pocatello.

“I firmly believe that elected officials must hold to the Constitution if we are to, ‘secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity.’  That is what I intend to do as your next State Senator.”
