Part 3: UNDERSTANDING THE SUPREMACY CLAUSE
Sometimes state officials cite the “Supremacy Clause” to their constituents as political cover for standing down to federal overreach. The Supremacy Clause is NOT a federal trump card over the states.
State officials reference the Supremacy Clause as an “out” to justify standing down to the federal government when they should be standing up on their oath in defense of state sovereignty. The smoke and mirrors work because most citizens have been raised by the public school system and grew up under an unconstitutional Administrative State superimposed over the Constitution. The fallacy in this supremacy argument begins with the fact that the words “Supremacy Clause” do not exist in the US Constitution. They are a descriptor used to refer to Article VI, Section 2.
The popular use of this descriptor has become a substitution for the very section to which it refers. Subsequently, “The Supremacy Clause” has evolved into a life of its own apart from the very authoritative clause it was coined to reference. Although only a balloon tied to the section it references, it has come to have its own gravitational pull intellectually taking us off course. The use, overuse, and misuse of that term has intoxicated the federal government into believing it has limitless “supreme” power over the states and conditioned the people to believe the same. Consequently, its use has changed the scope of the very constitutional source it references and knocked it out of alignment with the expressed intent behind it ― as found in Federalist papers 33 and 44 respectively.
Using the term, “Supremacy Clause” is much like the popular misuse of, “separation of church and state” (as if it were found in the Constitution); we are seeing something that is not there.
This misinformation over the meaning and scope of the Supremacy Clause has intoxicated federal bureaucrats with an attitude that they have absolute power over the states and has conditioned the people to believe the same when they do not see their state government flex and stand up jealously to federal overreach.
Jealousy is the fear of losing something you love to someone else. Jealousy is the tenor we need in our elected representatives when it comes to state sovereignty and individual liberty.
Alexander Hamilton made clear that when U.S. law is not pursuant to its constitutional (limited and delegated) powers it would be “merely a usurpation and will deserve to be treated as such.”
Certainly, the Founders agreed that a supreme law was required for any proper government to function, but the federal government would be limited in its scope and supremacy to only the eighteen enumerated powers delegated to it by the states (its creator) in Article 1, Section 8.

You are so very true and correct.
It is something that causes me a great deal of fear and consternation. Our citizenry is being led astray by the politicians and media, to the point we no longer read and understand the English language.
The Constitution was written in fairly plain English (for the day), and isn’t difficult to understand if it’s actually read, in its original.
However our government has dumbed down our education to the point our citizenry is completely ignorant of all of it, and worse yet, has had false notions and idea’s installed in place of actual knowledge. AND, we tell these people they are smart and educated, despite being neither.
THIS IS WHY WE’RE FUCKED!
Half the country is too stupid to realize they’re being screwed, the other half has been convinced it’s a good thing!
It’s why war is coming. We have been setup for it, on purpose, by evil people still in power.
Our politicians and media know how dumbed down the Tv watchers are. . The dumbed down tv watchers will believe anything with out discernment their Tv tells them.
The vast majority of conservatives avoid topics like this and focus on the big noise of the day, like what Trump said instead of what Trump does when in power (like pressuring people to take the “safe and effective” “vaccines”, locking us down (“to stop the spread”), increasing the national debt more in 4 years than any other president in US history as of the end of his term, hugging the lgbtq+++ flag?, appointing a number of “swamp creatures” (traitors), all while claiming to “drain the swamp”).
Or they follow feminist tough girl Kari Lake, the darling of the con-servatives, who says “although she chose life, she is not every woman and does not pretend to understand the circumstances and emotions of every woman”. Say what? So according to that statement as long as you are woman you have a “right” to murder your own child as long as you “feel” it’s okay. She doesn’t sound like a conservative to me. She’s also soft on the lgbtq+++ “community” (sodomites) (like Trump) and her combative nature teaches young girls to act aggressive, argumentative and manly. She is helping blur Gods roles for men and women taught in His word and a true asset to the “feminist movement” (which is a cancer in and a destruction of the family).
With conservative leaders (con-servatives) like this we’re in big trouble. Again, what are they conserving?
The solution is found in first getting right with God through his Son Jesus Christ who is the only way to heaven. You cannot go to heaven any other way. Read the Bible (KJV) and get saved (John 3:3). Then share the truth with others found in His word. Next, educate yourself on those who are running for office and vote for people like Mr Traubel that are telling us they will take their oath of office seriously and follow the rule of law. If we elect enough people like that we will see positive changes in the area, and hopefully it will spread nationwide as others take note and are less fearful to follow the rule of law.
But the constitution is for a God fearing people. Our founding fathers said that when they created it. It won’t work for a Christ rejecting, porn addicted, feminist, immodestly dressed, fornicating, adulterous, drug users, drunkards, movie and tv obsessed (idolatry), sports obsessed (idolatry) people who allow themselves be brainwashed by the media (including conservative media,), academia or popular culture, even if they call themselves conservative.

It is refreshing to encounter a writer who comprehends the problem we have right now with the “administrative state.” Unfortunately, this last legislative session witnessed a unilateral and complete surrender to the Idaho bureaucracy in which every bill passed closed with a “state of emergency” section.

There is a very real thing called the Supremacy Clause, but – as the author cogently points out – it applies to specific powers delegated to the Federal Government. It does not and can not override Amendments Nine and Ten of the Constitution which clearly delegate all powers not expressly delegated to the Federal Government to the individual States. And within a County, the Sheriff is the chief executive LEO. End of Story. Real Sheriffs understand this and have done everything from refusing to acknowledge Federal claims over certain claims of illegal action to even threatening to arrest Federal officers attempting to overstep their authority. And these are precisely the kind of Sheriffs that should be voted in by the People in every County in this great nation.
