Breaking: Caldwell Lt. Joey Hoadley Charged with ‘Deprivation of Rights’
By Greg Pruett • March 25, 2022Caldwell Police Lt. Joey Hoadley has been charged with “deprivation of rights under the color of law” according to United States District Court documents.
According to the “Information Filing Supplement” here is the Count description:
On or about March 30, 2017, in the District of Idaho, JOSEPH ALAN HOADLEY, while acting under color of law as a ranking Lieutenant and Police Officer with the Caldwell City Police Department, struck B.H., willfully depriving him of the right, secured and protected by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, to be free from the use of unreasonable force
by a law enforcement officer.AdvertisementAll in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 242.
Hoadley is scheduled for a “plea agreement hearing” next week. The “deprivation of rights” charge is the only “Count” listed in the court documents.
The charge is a Class A Misdemeanor.
Big deal. We are getting really soft.
The Corruption behind this is the problem. He needs to be fired and given the FBI floating around Caldwell, I’d be inclined to say fire them all and recruit those who have been fantastic and who serve the city honorable and diligently. This is disgusting what Nancolas did to the city. While he was using our money (for generations to come) to make Caldwell “beautiful” in its downtown area, he was slipping cash under the table. This is ridiculous! The crime and corruption has always been there but someone got sloppy. I believe that is why Nancolas had suddenly “retired.” You don’t give up a cushy set up without a hint that trouble was coming soon. The FBI have been here for awhile, I’m sure. Once the wind blew in the direction of the corruptors, they all fled. There is a reason why the city council all were and will be replaced with new members. The grotesque abuse of power all levels is disheartening.

You’d feel a lot differntly if you were black or in a country where the cops are just criminals with a badge who will shoot you down just because. As a woman I fear all cops and their potential to falsley charge me, rape me, smack me around, and even kill me. As the saying goes, “Men’s greatest fear is that women will laugh at them (we do). Women’s greatest fear is that men will kill them (which they do hundreds of times a day in the US alone). So maybe take a class on nonviolent resolution solutions. Like that will ever happen.
