Update: Boise Mall Shooter Took His Own Life
By Greg Pruett • June 13, 2022The Ada County Coroner’s Office has confirmed to Idaho Dispatch that the Boise Mall shooter died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Idaho Dispatch originally sent the public records request in January, but because the investigation was still pending, our records request was denied. Our request was submitted after citizens asked whether Jacob Bergquist, the suspect in the case, had taken his own life or was killed by responding police officers.
Today, Ada County Coroner Doty Owens sent Idaho Dispatch a report stating that the manner of death was “suicide” and that Bergquist died at St. Al’s hospital at 11:15 a.m. on October 26, 2021.
Bergquist killed three people at the Boise Townsquare Mall last year.

Nice.
I still have many questions about the entire event. Too much about the shooter from Illinois and his personal mission re gun and convicts seems too made-to-order for anti gunner politics.
