INCREASE AMID PANDEMIC

O.U.R. To Hold Free Live Streamed Event on July 30,
World Day Against Trafficking in Persons

SALT LAKE CITY, UT. – Operation Underground Railroad will be hosting a live streamed event on July 30th (World Day Against Trafficking in Persons) to raise awareness to help stop the fastest growing criminal
enterprise in the world. Right now, it’s estimated that there are 2 million children worldwide involved some way in sex trafficking and slavery. Every 30 seconds a person is sold into sex slavery, and now you have a
chance to help a group rescuing these children.

O.U.R. also has 30 demonstration leaders (and growing) in respective communities around the United States that plan to Rise Up on July 30th. The goal of these demonstrations is to call on governments to make a
commitment to continue giving resources that will help fight against traffickers and online pedophiles.

In 2020 alone, O.U.R. has seen the numbers increase by the millions due to the pandemic. O.U.R. works to rescue children trapped in sex slavery and spread awareness to lower the number exploited each year. Child sex trafficking is a difficult subject, but starting the conversation and raising money to help O.U.R. is just one way to rise up and save more children.
