James hartley has announced his candidacy for State Senate 6. James is a long-term resident of Latah County. He is running on the Constitution Party ticket as a Constitutional Conservative.

James believes that most of the ills that have befallen our great nation have to do with the wholesale abandonment of the Constitution by both major political parties. The Constitution mandates the Government that best suits a free Republic; however, both major political parties have completely ignored our constitutional foundation and have empowered an all-encompassing Bureaucratic form of Socialism.
