Interview with Constitution Party of Idaho’s Acting-Chairman, Tony Ullrich
By Greg Pruett • July 17, 2021Idaho Dispatch continues our efforts to bring Idahoans as much information we can about all candidates and political parties.
Ullrich recently became Acting-Chairmain after their former Chairman, David Hartigan stepped down. Hartigan and his family are moving out of state.
Ullrich says that his main goals are to grow the party and make it become more modern. He says his focus is on creating central committees within the party and helping get more conservatives elected to office in Idaho.

As a member of the Constitution Party of Idaho; a dead party being exhumed. I know nothing of their work and cannot say my registration has any value other than a stand against the duopoly. Really glad leadership has changed, they don’t even update the website, but have a new logo that says nothing about anything, nobody will recognize it or get a message from it outside of the party. This is just a DISTRACATION. I receive no party info, no marketing, nothing. Leadership? One step forward, two steps back. Forget social media, work on your own website. All the info and this video should be posted there. Where is the criticism of Scott Bedke on their website?
The election system is designed by the R & D parties to hijack politics by keeping third parties out of power. Get the RINO’s out and we will see progress, otherwise false hope of third parties will leave you bitter and alone.
You are aware we have a new website? Or old webpage became a disaster when we hired a developer to move us to a new server and redesign it. The new address is http://www.idahocp.com we are trying to recover old content and put up new as fast as we can.
I have personally over the last 5 years on many occasions mailed letters as well as cards to registered members of CP state wide asking for people to step up. Giving my personal contact information. This started long before I was involved with the State Central Committee. I have never once received a single reply.
I have actively tried to promote the party and help it grow.
Not trying to be critical or judgmental but have you ever reached out to the party? Have you tried to get involved?
The Party is going through a lot of change right now, all changes I believe will help the party grow. If you got ignored by previous party leadership in the past I would like to apologize for that, but if you have not reached out to the party I do not know what to say. We have reached out to every member countless times and recieved no response.
If you would like to contact me directly to discuss how the party can help to meet your expectations and how you can help the party achieve that and its goals my email address is info@idahocp.com or ullrichforidaho@gmail.com.
I will look forward to hearing from you
Good video: Thank You Tony. the RINO’s run Idaho and now we have a Socialist bent for our legislation. Democrats run as Republicans here. If you want Constitutional Government you must not vote R or D, you need to vote C for Constitution Party
