Deep Dive (Ep. 2) with Ron Nate, President of the Idaho Freedom Foundation

By • December 29, 2024

Our second episode of the Deep Dive is with Idaho Freedom Foundation President Ron Nate.

The purpose of Deep Dive is to give people a more personal look at the people in Idaho who work or volunteer in the political arena. The long-form podcast can be found on Rumble or YouTube and, eventually, on Spotify for those who want to listen.

Nate took over the Idaho Freedom Foundation recently and told Idaho Dispatch that IFF had a tremendous year.

We spoke about Nate’s previous work as a professor at Brigham Youg University – Idaho, and his work in the field of economics. We also discuss Nate’s family and his goals for the 2025 session.

We apologize for the video being shaky. We are not sure why the camera kept trying to focus the entire time.

  1. Excellent interview, Ron Nate and Greg Pruett! Thank you for all that you do on behalf of Idahoans, whether conservative, liberal, or in between. We treasure the many wins you’ve worked so hard to achieve in Idaho.

In addition to the top-three priorities discussed in this interview and others supported by IFF, many Idahoans also want to see “take back our freedom (and our own money)” bills on the legislative to-do list.

See “Health Freedom & Other Solutions for Idaho …AND BEYOND. Sample Bills, References & Links” for examples of what’s needed: https://eolson47.substack.com/p/health-freedom-and-other-solutions

Without securing our health and other freedoms, the legislation described in this interview — while absolutely essential — could be dwarfed. We’re just one “pandemic” away from another biological and financial disaster that again strips — at exorbitant cost — nearly every freedom supposedly protected under the US Constitution Bill of Rights (and Idaho’s constitution too).

We cannot wait for the Feds to “maybe” help with a change in HHS and other policies. We first must secure our rights at the state and local levels, where we have legislators and “lesser magistrates” who actually listen to us.

To see some grassroots efforts that have succeeded in Idaho and soon other states, visit “Idaho’s County Commissioners Advise Against Gene Therapy Shots” at https://eolson47.substack.com/p/idaho-county-commissioners-advise. Idahoans have made a start, but our legislature can boost us across the finish line.

    Thanks for listening!
