Breaking: Ashton Jeanty Places 2nd in Heisman Race
By Greg Pruett • December 14, 2024Boise State Broncos star running back Ashton Jeanty has placed 2nd in the Heisman Trophy race.
Jeanty often won the online fan polls run by ESPN, Fox Sports, and other sports outlets over and over again. However, Travis Hunter, today’s winner of the Heisman Trophy, remained high in the odds market up through tonight.
Jeanty is just the second BSU player nominated for a Heisman Trophy. BSU’s Kellen Moore was the first to be nominated and took fourth in voting.
Over 900 people across the country, primarily media personalities, are the individuals who vote for the Heisman Trophy winner.
Jeanty has declared for the NFL draft and will continue to play for BSU in the college football playoff in a couple of weeks.

We at ACHD will continue with the snowplow named “Ashton Jeanty” and will also christen the sump pump truck “Coach Prime”. Do any of your septic tanks need pumping? “Pump and Dump Prime”, a good name for Dion.

Sports is idolatry. Most athletes are nasty rotten people and not anyone to look up to. We live in a sick society that idolizes sports “stars” and movie “stars”.
The real hero’s of today are those who go to work, do the right thing, take care of their families (and teach them the right way to go) and most importantly fear the Lord.
