Bill Banning Mask Mandates Heads to Governor’s Desk
By Greg Pruett • February 21, 2025The Idaho Senate has passed HB 32, which will ban government entities from forcing Idahoans to wear masks.
Rep. Rob Beiswenger (R – Horseshoe Bend) and Sen. Brian Lenney (R – Nampa) were the co-sponsors of the legislation. The ban comes five years after COVID-19 and after years of the legislature trying to get a ban through to Governor Brad Little.
The Idaho House passed the ban on a 52-16-2 vote, with several Republicans joining Democrats in opposition. Today, the Senate passed the ban 27-6-2, with Sen. Jim Guthrie (R – Inkom) the lone Republican to vote against the ban.
According to the Statement of Purpose for the legislation, the bill bans any government agency from forcing Idahoans to wear masks, face shields, or other devices to slow down the spread of a contagious or infectious disease.
HB 32 now heads to Little’s desk. There has been no indication of whether Little will sign the bill or not.

I fully support banning medical mandates that are not seriously substantiated by REAL science. These Medical Mafia schemes must end. Covid revealed just to what lengths that very nefarious gangsters were willing to go, in order to take control of our lives.
I become more frustrated by the day at the so-called “Republicans” that side with the Medical Mafia and continue their support for these control schemes. I wonder if THEY actually got the Covid jabs, as they demanded we all take?
Let’s see if Brad Little is still in the pocket of Big Medicine. I hope he signs it. Not holding my breath.
Masks have been proven to be not only useless (viruses can penetrate through the masks) and downright dangerous. You are breathing in your own dirty expelled air plus whatever chemicals are in the masks. It’s extremely dangerous for children who were forced to wear a mask throughout the school day causing headaches, brain fog, and perhaps even brain damage. We need oxygen and fresh air! Plus no virus has been purified and isolated according to scientific principals – ever. Even if you believe in contagion, the whole distancing and mask requirement directive was designed to keep us apart and in fear of each other with absolutely no effect on spreading the deadly fake “virus”. Enough!
I too, am a skeptic of our current “governor.” I have made this perfectly clear in many responses to articles generated by his office reading about him dislocating his own shoulder patting himself on the back. And it’s always nothing more than him utilizing the media for pseudo campaign comments. It disgusts me, frankly.
I too, will believe it if/when I see it regarding his signature on that bill.
