Updated List of Passed and Failed Mask Mandates in Idaho

If you notice a county or city that is missing from this list or one of these that has now been rescinded, please let us know at info@idahodispatch.com. Please be sure to provide a link to the order from the city or county website or another news site in your email.
Here is the current list of mask mandates that are in place (in Idaho) by either District Health boards, counties (incorporated cities listed), or individual cities/towns as of 11/19/2020.
Central District Health: Passed date of orders varies by county. All of them are in effect until they are rescinded.
Some of the counties & cities in Central District Health:
Ada County (Boise, Eagle, Garden City, Kuna, Meridian, Star) – Passed on 10/20/2020. Link to the order.
Valley County (Cascade, Donnelly, McCall) – Passed on 8/11/2020. Link to the order.
Eastern Idaho District Health: Passage of orders varies by county. All of them are in effect until they are rescinded.
Some of the counties & cities in Eastern Idaho District Health:
Bonneville County (Ammon, Idaho Falls, Iona, Irwin, Ririe, Swan Valley, Ucon) – Passed on 8/6/2020.
Fremont County (Ashton, Drummond, Island Park, Newdale, Parker, St. Anthony, Teton, Warm River) – Passed on 9/14/2020.
Jefferson County (Hamer, Lewisville, Menan, Mud Lake, Rigby, Ririe, Roberts) – Passed on 8/10/2020.
Lemhi County (Leadore, Salmon) – Passed on 10/1/2020.
Madison County (Rexburg, Sugar City) – Passed on 9/14/2020.
Teton County (Driggs Victor, Tetonia) – Passed on 10/1/2020.
Panhandle Health District: Passed on 11/19/2020 and expires 60 days from the date of implementation.
Here are the counties in the Panhandle Health District: Kootenai, Bonner, Shoshone, Boundary, and Benewah

Blaine County: Passed on 10/20/2020. Expires: In effect until it is rescinded.
Some of the cities/towns/communities covered in Blaine County:
Bellevue, Carey, Hailey, Ketchum, Sun Valley
Coeur d’Alene: Passed on 10/26/2020. Expires on 1/29/2021.
Kellogg: Passed on 11/11/2020. Expires on 12/20/2020.
Lewiston: Passed on 11/19/2020. Expires on 1/25/2021.

Moscow: Passed on 9/21/2020. Expires on 1/5/2021.
Pocatello: Passed on 11/19/2020. Expires only when the city council decides to do so.

Hayden passed a resolution but not a mandate.

Sad so many people living in fear…In Idaho too..So sad.
I will support the cities that do not mandate masks by doing all my shopping there.
