Sneak Peek: Two St. Luke’s Nurses Who Recently Quit Their Jobs Speak Out

By • September 21, 2021

Recently, Idaho Dispatch was put in contact with several nurses who used to work for St. Luke’s Hospital in Meridian.

The nurses, Danny Merkes and Katie Sullivan, have worked at St Luke’s for decades. Both said they were sad to leave their jobs and are frustrated not only at the vaccine mandate at the hospital but said there are problems that run much deeper.

Idaho Dispatch sat down with Merkes and Sullivan for a lengthy discussion on some of the problems they say are plaguing the nursing industry and what problems they witnessed at St. Luke’s.

The full interview will be available on September 23 at 6:00 p.m. MST. But, for now, here is a sneak preview:

  1. There is no worse tyranny than to force a man to pay for what he does not want merely because you think it would be good for him.

  2. The American Revolutionary War…We fought against Socialists and we are doing it again. These Liberal Socialists want to control lives for what they think is best and what they think is always wrong. They lie, cheat, and steal. They never consider consequence. We are free to choose for a reason, and we will fight for it. We will never give up!

    1. I’m glad to hear you say this. It’s past time for all the other warriors to step up & pick up a stone, as well. Thank you!
