By • April 9, 2025

Protesters are expected to try to disrupt the Charlie Kirk event at Boise State University next week.

What’s Happening: Turning Point USA is hosting “The American Comeback Tour,” a series of events across the United States. On April 15, the event will be held at BSU.

According to TPUSA‘s website, a description of the events is as follows:

“Throughout The American Comeback Tour, TPUSA Founder and CEO Charlie Kirk will be traveling to college campuses to debate conventional narratives promoted by leftist academia. In the spirit of open inquiry, debate, and free speech, the tour will provide students of all viewpoints the opportunity to discuss important subjects with Kirk and special guests.”

Digging Deeper: The group anticipated to counter-protest the event is a new national group called 50501, which stands for 50 protests in 50 states and one movement. The group is a liberal group with an Idaho chapter. The group also protested against President Donald Trump at the Idaho capitol several weeks ago.
