Press Release: Humphreys Tells Little and Delegation to Get Serious About Afghan Refugee Resettlement

By • September 18, 2021

The following Press Release was sent out by Republican gubernatorial candidate Ed Humphreys:

(Eagle, Idaho) Ed Humphreys, Republican candidate for Idaho Governor, called on the Governor and the Idaho Delegation to put a moratorium in place on Afghan refugee until a transparent vetting process is put in place for Idaho to evaluate.

“The Governor and the Delegation say they will not tolerate a change in the vetting process in order to expedite Afghan refugees. They should be demanding even stricter standards because the current vetting process is run by the U.N.,” Humphreys said.

“Considering the Biden Administration’s reckless vetting and settling of refugees crossing the Southern US border, and the poor track record of the UN, a moratorium on refugee resettlement is imperative,” he added.

The governor says he has yet to be informed how many Afghan refugees may be resettled in Idaho or when they could begin to arrive.

  1. “The governor says he has yet to be informed how many Afghan refugees may be resettled in Idaho or when they could begin to arrive“. He has yet to be INFORMED?! Who’s state is this anyway? Unless the refugee(s) has been verified as being vetted AND has truly aided the US, the only thing I want to hear coming from the governor is “Hell no!”

  2. Ed or Janice. That’s my vote !
Greg, let’s get a polling to see how 22 Gov candidates are stacking up so we can put our idaho votes behind the right candidate to beat Little. Boise mayor issues vax port and little
