Press Release: Gov. Little to host statewide Sustainable Transportation Funding Roundtables

By • March 27, 2021

The following Press Release was sent out by the office of Governor Brad Little on March 26th, 2021:

Boise, Idaho – Governor Brad Little announced today he will host Sustainable Transportation Funding Roundtables with businesses and local leaders across Idaho next week.

Governor Little will travel to north Idaho, eastern Idaho, and the west Treasure Valley next week to meet with businesses and local officials about their need for a sustainable transportation funding solution to deal with Idaho’s unprecedented growth.

“Before and during the pandemic, Idaho is the fastest growing state in the nation. Idaho simply will not keep up with that growth if we, as elected leaders, do not invest strategically and sustainably in our roads,” Governor Little said. “We have an obligation as elected leaders to confront the growing list of unfunded transportation projects across Idaho with a sustainable funding plan moving forward. We must take steps now to preserve your precious time and make our transportation system safer. I am actively working with my legislative partners on a plan right now.”

The Governor’s Office will reach out directly to local newsrooms to share details about media availabilities that will take place following the roundtable sessions at each stop.

  1. Lower Taxes.
Cut Wasteful Spending. (Initially look at Public Education and Medicaid budgets).
    Use available money.

There are more than enough funds to build the roads needed, without raising taxes.

Here’s a thought: Ask the people, the individual, for input.

  2. Idaho’s voters keep on having the taxes raises , voting in new taxes and are too dumb to realize the growth brings in more school fees property taxes and general sales tax growth. Idahos politician and unionkzed crime gang is raping the taxpayers.

  3. Typical Brad, hey I’ll talk to the big guys but the little folk that have to pay for stupid ideas – hell no! Who is brighter the horse Brad rides or Brad???

    1. Agree Bonnie, the People have the true ideas, not more committee’s.

Yet, regarding the Governor’s personal transportation, No self respecting Horse would be caught dead giving this, “Committee” man a lift.

Besides, doesn’t he only ride Sheep?

    2. Agree Bonnie, it’s the Citizens, the Individuals that have the Ideas, not committees.

Regarding the Governor’s personal transportation however, No self respecting Horse would be caught dead giving him a lift.

Besides, doesn’t he only ride Sheep?

Herein lies the problem, he treats We The People, The Citizens of Idaho as he treats his Sheep.
He may not posses the inherent ability to lead People whatsoever.
