Mike Pence Writes Letter to Former MAGA Granny Turned Leftist
By Greg Pruett • June 25, 2025Former Vice President Mike Pence sent a letter to Pam Hemphill, formerly known as the MAGA Granny, who has turned into a full-blown liberal since her incarceration.
What’s Happening: Hempill turned down a presidential pardon from President Donald Trump for those arrested and convicted on January 6th, 2021.
However, Hemphill refused her pardon, saying she committed a crime and deserved what she got. Hemphill used to be a staunch defender of Trump, but has since embraced all things leftist.
Pence sent her a short letter, thanking her for being “brave,” stating in full:
“I am writing to express my admiration for your decision to refuse a presidential pardon and accept responsibility for your actions on January 6th.
January 6th was a tragic day, but I will always believe that I did my duty that day to see the peaceful transfer of power under the Constitution of the United States.
AdvertisementYour honorable decision speaks volumes about your commitment to the Rule of Law and I wanted to pass along my genuine respect.
I am certain that your willingness to accept responsibility has inspired many Americans by your example of integrity and faith. May God bless you and your family with every blessing in the years ahead.”
Digging Deeper: Hemphill does everything she can to find herself in the limelight, as neither the conservatives nor the liberals want anything to do with her political activism.

Our solution: IGNORE HER. Don’t give her any ink, electronic or otherwise.
Agreed! Stop giving all of these buffoons any screen time, sooner or later they’ll get tired of not having any attention and will go away.
I agree fully with the above writers…and I would apply the same treatment to Pence. The individuals in this article are two peas in a pod in my opinion…irrelevant headline-seekers that warrant no attention.
I do think this article was very useful.
The ex-MAGA granny is a nobody, and no one cares what she thinks or does.But Mike Pence is not a nobody.
However, he shows respect to the opinions of this nobody; a nobody who is moreover a total and obvious kook.
No normal person completely changes her opinions about almost everything overnight, especially not when that person is well past middle age.
But Mike Pence thinks this is normal.
That means he is not.
