Libertarian Presidential Candidate Jo Jorgensen to Visit Idaho

By • September 14, 2020

While Donald Trump Jr. is scheduled to visit Idaho in Stanley tomorrow on behalf of President Donald Trump’s campaign for a fundraiser, a presidential candidate is coming to Idaho herself.

Dr. Jo Jorgensen is running on the Libertarian Party ticket. The Libertarian Party is the third largest political party in the United States.

Jorgensen is currently on a bus tour that will be stopping in Idaho, Montana, and South Dakota in the coming days.

Idahoans will have a number of candidates to choose from for president on November 3rd. However, only Jorgensen, Trump, and Joe Biden will be on the ballot in every state.

Jorgensen will stop in both Boise and Idaho Falls this week to campaign in the Gem State.

The first event will take place on September 16th in Meridian. You can follow an event link for the event here.

UPDATE: The event will take place at Julius Kleiner Memorial Park from 5:45 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Justin Nagle who is running for Kootenai County Sheriff as a Libertarian will address the crowd. Additionally, Joeseph Evans who is running for Idaho’s 1st Congressional District as a Libertarian will speak.

The second event will take place on September 17th in Idaho Falls. This event will take place at Russ Freeman Park from 5:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.

Details for the event when they are available will be on the link here.

Jorgensen will be the first presidential candidate to visit Idaho for the 2020 general election campaign season.

Idaho Dispatch will be on the ground in Boise to cover the event and we intend to live-stream the event.

If for some reason the live-stream does not work, we will have the event recorded and uploaded to our YouTube channel.

    1. She supports the concept of reducing police brutality, mainly by eliminating qualified immunity for officers. But she does not support the marxist organization BLM.

      1. She has aligned herself with BLM through written support and hashtags. I don’t care if she has come out to clarify her position on certain aspects of what she and they believe. BLM is a Marxist group and any support, or alignment with their group, is ignorant. I won’t vote for someone who doesn’t understand that.

  1. Thank you so much for publishing an article on a 3rd candidate. I feel America needs more choices and it’s nice to see Idaho recognizes that.
