Hailey City Council: No More Than 10 People Indoors on Private Property

Under the old order, face masks were required when social distancing was not possible.
However, Hailey is now in the “orange” for their current Coronavirus status. The city sought to update its order to require stricter guidelines and give the police the opportunity to enforce the update order.
The new order limits gatherings indoors in private residences to 10 people or less unless a family household is larger than that number.
This means that gatherings for birthday parties and holidays such as Thanksgiving would be prohibited if the number of individuals was larger than 10 people and those people did not reside in the same house.
For public gatherings in places like churches, there is a limit of one person per 64 square feet. Whether churches and other private venues holding public meetings will comply with the new guidelines remains to be seen.
There are a number of exceptions to the rule such as schools, healthcare facilities, and grocery stores that can exceed these limits.

The order also prohibits private businesses from entering into commerce with individuals who are not wearing a face mask/face shield or do not comply with the one person per 64 square foot rule.
Additionally, the order says that if businesses or other public venues enter into commerce with people who are not complying, they could be forced to shut down until compliance is met.
Businesses must also post signage on their doors. The signage states that people entering must wear a face mask or face shield.
The signs also state that individuals must wash their hands or use hand sanitizer prior to entering and maintain six feet of social distance while inside the facility.
Idaho Dispatch reached out to the Hailey Police Department to ask if they intend to enforce the order. They have not yet returned our request for comment.

This is bio terrorism for profit! Government officials need to be going to jail. Our Governor suppressed the use of HCQ days after declaring his emergency, before it was controversial. You got to ask yourself why??? Lives could have been saved, all this hysteria (should never have happened) and stress could have been avoided. Decades of peer reviewed studies have shown masks to be ineffective, 70% of COVID “cases” report wearing a mask all the time… Prove distancing, masks, lockdowns, isolation… work.
