Governor Little, Other Idaho Officials React to U.S. Strikes on Iran
By Greg Pruett • June 22, 2025The United States military, under orders from President Donald Trump, has struck three Iranian nuclear sites.
What’s Happening: As the Israel and Iranian war continues, the U.S. has now entered the war by striking at Iranian nuclear sites, to cripple Iran’s nuclear capabilities. Trump told Iran that any retaliation by the country will be met with overwhelming U.S. military action.
Governor Brad Little (R) praised Trump for the action, stating on X,
“POTUS is taking decisive action to put America First and keep the world safe. Iran should never have a nuclear weapon. God bless our brave men and women in uniform.”
U.S. Senator Mike Crapo gave the following support for Trump after the attack:
“President Trump has taken targeted action against Iran and upheld his long-held stance that Iran can never have a nuclear weapon. I continue to support our vital ally, Israel, and President Trump’s strong leadership in protecting American national security.”

U.S. Congressman Mike Simpson (R) also supported Trump’s order to strike Iran, stating on X,
“Iran should never have a nuclear weapon. President Trump’s decisive leadership sends a clear message to our adversaries: he means what he says and stands firm in defense of American security. I fully support his decision to eliminate the nuclear program of the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism. May God bless the brave men and women of our armed forces who serve our country with honor.”
Digging Deeper: Iran has promised to retaliate against the United States for the attacks. Trump told Iran that if they retaliate, there will be an even greater attack against their country.

We absolutely should NOT be involved in a war with Iran, unless they engage in war with us first.

I daresay that Trump, at least, learned a lot. We are not at war–one clean surgical attack does not constitute a war. There are no boots on the ground, and I doubt that there will be. Trump spent 60 days negotiating in good faith, with only bad faith in return from Iran. He promised a consequence–he delivered a consequence. Now we sit back and see if Iran will finally come to the table. Sure, he’s still making threats–but he has little to nothing left with which to make good on any threats. Blocking the Strait of Hormuz (which he can’t do successfully) would hurt Iran more than it would hurt us, as Iran is almost entirely dependent on smuggling oil to China through that very same Strait. The US has bases and allies all along the SW side of the Persian Gulf and the Strait. Trump holds the cards in this poker game.

Heidi, do you have short-term memory loss? Obama said no troops on the ground as he sent drones to “surgically” strike in a “non-war”. The term hypocrisy exists for a reason, and you just proved it.
What war? Surgical strikes after 60 days of trying his best to negotiate with terrorists, it has been going on for years and not one president before has made it clear, Iran cannot have nuclear capabilities.
I don’t understand how you bleeding hearts will whine and cry over this, yet you didn’t say one damned thing when Obama used drones on over 500 strikes in Yemen, Somalia and Afghanistan, which also killed innocent civilians. Oh yeah, I remember now, its because Trump did it, not Obama, or Biden, or any other liberal democrat.
Understand this, it was a necessary thing for our country to do, the time was right, and it has made the WORLD a safer place. The strike didn’t hit civilian areas, like hospitals, it took out the facilities where they were building nuclear bombs! But I guess you’re okay with Iran having nuclear abilities, seeing how well they are such caring and hospitable people, right?smfh…

Well it’s good to know people in this comment section personally flew to Iran and confirmed no civilians were harmed. God knows the media and military tell us the truth. And I’m sure we all have a map of Iran nuclear sites to confirm what was and wasn’t hit as well.

This is the best opportunity to set back Irans nuclear ambitions for decades if not end it all together. They are fanitcs that hate the US and are our sworn enemy. bomb baby bomb!
After 60+ days of attempting to negotiate, this exercise was well-planned, surgical in its execution, and achieved its objective. Iran may make idle threats, but there is nothing left for them to use to execute threats. There was no declaration of war, and Trump is willing to negotiate peace any time Khamenei will come to the table. Every president back to Clinton has been in agreement that Iran should not have nuclear weapons. Two of them tried to buy Iran off with cash (dumb move). Now that they were getting close, it happened to fall on Trump’s watch to do something about it–and for once we do have a president who says what he means and is willing to back it up. He did. This was no sneak attack–it was told to Iran in advance that they would be hit if they refused to negotiate and continued on in bad faith. Trump kept his promise. Khamenei may sit and fume, but he’s in no position to do anything BUT negotiate. My biggest concern right now is how badly Biden’s open borders may have left us open to internal attack should sleeper cells rise up–but if they do, I don’t think Trump will hesitate to deal with them. So now we play a waiting game. All in all, I support Trump’s action, which was clean, surgical, and did not put boots on the ground.
I live in Idaho. Little is well known as “Governor Do Little.” He has allowed the Californians’ voted in Democrat mayor of Boise totally run Boise and lead him around by the nose. Crapo has voted against Trump’s agenda many times and he is a huge RINO!!! Simpson goes along to get along and it’s usually on the Democrat’s side. Idaho needs to vote these idiots, that barely do anything for Americans, out!!! We need patriotic Americans that care about our state and our country in our government offices!!!
