Governor Little Approves Legislation for Over-the-Counter Ivermectin Sales
By Greg Pruett • April 14, 2025Governor Brad Little has signed SB 1211, which allows Ivermectin to be sold over-the-counter in Idaho.
What’s Happening: SB 1211, sponsored by Sen. Tammy Nichols (R—Middleton) and Rep. Jordan Redman (R—Coeur d’Alene), comes several years after the drug became controversial during the COVID-19 years. Liberals mocked the drug’s use to fight COVID-19, calling it “horse dewormer,” despite its use worldwide to fight many diseases and illnesses.
Many pharmacies refused to fill Ivermectin prescriptions during COVID-19. With Little’s signature, citizens will no longer have to worry about that.
Digging Deeper: Like the bill Little signed to prohibit government agencies from forcing mask mandates, this bill would have been much more helpful when COVID-19 was happening, whether you believe it was useful or not.
It is still a good bill. However, can our government do the right thing when it matters and not after the fact?
Because Ivermectin will be sold over-the-counter, it will be interesting to see how expensive it is compared to the prescribed price.

in x-rays they can show parasites but the physicians and dentists don’t inform you they are parasites. We need OTC ivermectin. yes.
I used Ivermectin with great success for ‘covid.’ Currently I’m using fenbendazole to treat my cat’s cancer, we’re seeing great success with that, he’s doing amazing! Ivermectin, Fenben, and other safe anti-parasite drugs kill cancer. That is Elephant in the room they fear you knowing about.
You’re so right. Mainstream media and pharmaceutical companies have long shut down information about nearly every disease, including cancer.
