Ex-MAGA Grandma Pam Hemphill Champions Boise’s LGBT Flag

What’s Happening: As the battle over the LGBT flag flying above Boise City Hall continues, Hemphill took to social media to defend McLean’s decision to violate state law. Hemphill posted on X,
“If you’re in support of the Boise City Mayor for keeping the Pride Flag Up, please call Mayor McLean and let her know! Let’s all stand up for equality!”

Digging Deeper: Hemphill’s defense of the LGBT flag is the latest in her shift toward leftist ideology. While Hemphill used to embrace the MAGA movement, she has since registered as a Democrat and voted for Kamala Harris in the last presidential election. Hemphill appears to have fully embraced the liberal narrative.
What is interesting about this case is that Hemphill said she deserved to go to prison because she broke the law. She insisted that President Donald Trump not give her a pardon when he was re-elected.
But now, she is advocating for McLean to break state law. Even if the law does not have an enforcement mechanism, is Hemphill saying it is okay to violate the law if it is a law you disagree with?
