DHS Kristi Noem Hospitalized with Allergic Reaction

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has had an allergic reaction.

What’s Happening: Noem was transported to the hospital for an undisclosed allergic reaction, according to a DHS spokesman. The statement read:

“Secretary Noem had an allergic reaction today. She was transported to the hospital out of an abundance of caution.” She is alert and recovering.”

Digging Deeper: Numerous X accounts asked for prayers for Noem. No accounts have disclosed the reaction.

It is not uncommon for high-ranking government officials to receive treatment at a hospital to ensure they receive the best care. Given Noem’s position in the Trump administration, the DHS said they took Noem to the hospital out of an abundance of caution for care.
