Detransitioner Chloe Cole Speaks Out Against Radical Gender Ideology at Old State Saloon
By Greg Pruett • May 20, 2025Chloe Cole, one of the most famous individuals in the detransitioning movement, came to Idaho to speak at the Old State Saloon about her story of being a part of the transgender movement and her eventual detransition out of it.
Cole was invited to speak at the Old State Saloon in Eagle by owner Mark Fiitzpatrick. Fitzpatrick has had multiple well-known guests speak at the venue.
When asked why Fitzpatrick asked Cole to come to Idaho to tell her story, he told Idaho Dispatch,
“Since last June, I’ve been exposed to just how evil and twisted the LGBTQ+ PRIDE movement can be. And for places like Kaiser and Planned Parenthood, murdering the unborn child is not enough. They are financially super-funded with a plan to attack our children y deceiving them, permanently sexually castrating them, and causing them to be Big Pharma patients forever.
And when you try to call them out on it, they gang up on you and gaslight you – of course, in a vile and disgusting manner.
Chloe Cole is a brave and bold living proof of their wicked intent. I asked her to come to Old State Saloon because I want to join forces with people like her to expose the enemy. People of America don’t get it yet. EVERYTHING is on the line. Our country needs to wake up and say ‘Enough is enough.”

Cole has traveled the country, speaking in over 40 states, and is active on social media. In her presentation, “Waking Up a Generation in Transition,” she discusses the dangers and evils of the transgender movement.
At the Old State Saloon, Cole told the packed crowd about her childhood. She said that she was a tomboy when she was young. She loved doing things that both girls and boys liked to do.
“I was a stereotypical girly girl,” she said. But Cole said she eventually started to feel different about her body.
As Cole began to feel uncomfortable about her body and the attention she got as a young girl, she said she felt like she wanted to crawl out of her skin. As Cole looked to doctors, counselors, and social media for help, they eventually pushed her to claim her life as a “boy.”
Cole said that the doctors and counselors refused to let her parents be a part of the conversation and then eventually told her parents that Cole would commit suicide if they did not go along with her transition. Cole said about her parents,
“They had no clue how to even begin to deal with it.”
Eventually, Cole was prescribed puberty blockers, testosterone, and underwent a double mastectomy as a minor. She said her voice changed, she cut her hair, and that, other than the people who knew her, she became unrecognizable from the girl she had looked like before.
Cole said that while autism plays a role in some kids who transition, she also said the radical left’s agenda has pushed many kids who are not on the spectrum to also fall into the gender ideology trap. She said that the left’s agenda is to attack kids’ natural beauty.
During the presentation, Cole said that she underwent her surgery during the lockdowns. She talked about how some people could not get care for necessary medical procedures, but she was allowed to get an unnecessary double mastectomy as a minor.
Approximately one year after her surgery, Cole said she regretted everything. She began seeking places for people like her and found online forums that helped her realize she was not alone.
Cole has been aligned and attacked by the radical left for speaking out against the transgender movement. Cole said that what she really needed was time. She stated,
“I felt lost from a very young age, and all I needed was an adult to hold me close. Tell me things were okay. To give me some time.”
Toward the end of the presentation, Cole discussed her newfound faith in Jesus Christ. She thanked the Christians who helped her during her detransition. Cole stated about her experience and how she fights on, stating,
“I chose to pick up my cross and move forward.”
Thousands of people watched Cole’s presentation live on X; approximately 70 attended in person.
As Cole discussed her faith, Fitzpatrick said that a rainbow appeared outside. He ran out and took a picture of the rainbow, which you can see in the image below. (For reference, Fitzpatrick’s shirt with the rainbow says “Copyright God” on it.)

At least Fitzpatrick seems to be “walking-the-walk” instead of just “talking-the-talk”.
Appreciate your coverage of this event, and the rainbow photo is both ironic and iconic.
Jan Jekielek of American Thought Leaders conducted a very good interview with Chloe Cole a while back. Here it is in case you missed the one at Old State Saloon : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqiQoDWgbOQ
Jesus can heal! Ask Him. He knows our heart, mind and soul, He created it all. And He uses it all for His purpose.
What a beautiful picture. Thank you Mr Fitzpatrick and Chloe for spreading truth to a lost world.
