2022 Idaho Statewide Candidates for Office as of 4/7/2022 – Primaries Only

By • April 7, 2022

The primary election is less than six weeks away, and the final list of candidates has been announced by the Secretary of State’s office.

There are two statewide races that are “open races.” Several statewide offices have multiple candidates for primary races while two offices do not have a race but their names have been included here so that readers do not wonder why a particular office is not listed.

Please note that this list will NOT include Congressional races.

The following list is of all candidates from any party who will be running in the primary election. Unaffiliated and Independent candidates will NOT be listed here because those candidates only run in the general election. Candidates will also not be listed if they do not yet have a primary opponent.

Candidates will be listed alphabetically by last name and by their political party until primaries are completed. Candidates’ websites and social media sites are also posted. An incumbent, if applicable, will also be noted as such. Idaho Dispatch has also posted links to interviews with candidates who have agreed to do an interview with us. We are doing our best to reach all statewide candidates for an interview.

If you notice that your candidate has information available that we do not have, please send the information to info@idahodispatch.com.

  1. As long as Ed Humphreys stays in the race Brad Little is sure to win for Governor, and he knows it. Support Janice McGeachin because she fought hard for freedom against Governor Little during the past two years. Jim Hollingsworth

  2. It is obvious that Bedke isn’t of political caliber for people of Idaho. Opportunities to help haven’t transpired under his watch. Be careful fellow patriots, we need TRUSTED political members working for us. Gregg, As a yearly member of your “Idaho dispatch “ I deeply appreciate your efforts to accurately and honestly keep us informed. Thank you..

  3. Folks, I don’t reside in district 10 but I do vote a conservative ballot. But as shown above ⬆️ you have Tammy Nichols on your ballot. She says she supports the second amendment but look closely – she doesn’t even know to hold the gun she has in her picture. To me that means that she is simply putting out a message she thinks people in her district wants to hear. Bet she has never shot a gun. I would have volumes to ask her before I would vote her ticket.

    1. Your information is totally inaccurate. She and her family go to local ranges on a regular basis and she has taken multiple shooting classes at local ranges …..

  4. Bedke has done much damage. He has to go.
We might end up with such a split vote Little will stay in power.
If we waste votes on candidates who have no chance Little stays.
Janice is the only one who even has a chance looking at the polls.
This is not the time for voting for your favorite. This it the time to get rid of little.
    Vote Janice
